Application Scientist

Work directly with customers in university and R&D labs. You'll develop new lithography applications, run training and demos, and feed real-world user experience back into our development cycle.

—MSc or PhD in physics, materials science, electrical engineering, photonics, or related
—Hands-on experience with photolithography, EBL, or related cleanroom processes
—Comfortable presenting technical content and running live demos
—Willing to travel internationally (~25%)

Mechanical Engineer

Design and refine the mechanical subsystems of BEAM — optical mounts, motion stages, chassis, thermal management — across new product development and continuous improvement of shipping platforms.

—BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
—Proficient with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or comparable CAD tools
—Experience with precision tolerancing, kinematic mounts, and thermal/structural analysis
—Bonus: optomechanical design or vibration isolation experience
